Rail Planning Engineer, Manchester Permanent staff Our Client`s Manchester are a major civil engineering contractor with a national framework contract with Network Rail. They are currently seeking to strengthen their construction team by appointing a Planning Engineer. They have a number of civil and builiding projects; from station refurbishments, station car park construction and variety of footbridges and tunnels; construction values vary from £1-6 m. You will be ideally from a construction / engineering background, expert user of Primavera P6 with ideally previous rail industry experience. You will be responsible for: Creating & managing P6 Programmes, updating schedules by communicating with site based & office based staff and submit cost loaded programmes Ensuring accurate programme information are maintained so as to ensure all costs and progress are captured correctly and, attending meetings to report progress on various schemes
