SENIOR COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Scotland
approx £450.00 per day
Experienced in the Completions & Commissioning processes, ensuring that the correct structure and contents for completions and commissioning -Take-offs and preparation of system/subsystem matrixes, procedures and all associated documents – are prepared and robust enough to comply with Client requirements and specifications.
Meeting the Project objectives by conducting all necessary supervision and associated Vendors commissioning, development, preparation and execution work; monitoring Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and managing Commissioning activities associated with onshore Gas Compression Plant, Utilities systems, and associated integration to existing facilities.
Flexibility to be engaged in other discipline activities and provide cover where and when necessary.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
To aid the Project achieve its objectives by:
o Ensure necessary HSE reviews are undertaken and identified actions completed.
o Conduct design reviews for commissioning and start-up requirements.
o Attend F.A.T.’s agree results and actions.
o Advise & prepare documents etc., for the commissioning and acceptance requirements of Systems and sub system equipment.
o Assist the preparation of all necessary Commissioning Plans and Procedures.
o Assist all necessary commissioning preparation work (monitoring preservation, monitoring of mechanical
o Completion and pre-commissioning activities, commissioning temporaries, etc).
o Ensure all necessary statutory requirements are in Compliance and in place prior to commencement of any commissioning activities.
o Manage commissioning activities and support to start-up scope.
o Ensure acceptable Formal Handovers to Operator are prepared.
o Participate in and assist with the co-ordination of the Project’s performance test(s).
o Contribute to the Commissioning Group’s improvement process and close-out report.
o Flexibility in duties.
o Assist QA/QC in completion and documentation collating activities.
