Our client is looking to recruit a Planning Engineer based in Gloucester. This is an immediate requirement therefore valid security clearance to BC+ or above would be preferred, although we would be willing to start the security process for the right candidate. Candidates with valid security clearance will be given first consideration. You will have more than 5 years of experience in multiple, complex, projects in a safety critical environment (nuclear new build, power station etc.) with a demonstrable track record of delivering results, programme finances and presenting results to management. You will be able to demonstrate programme management and extensive experience in scheduling and planning using Primavera P5 – P6. Additionally you will have experience in project strategy, cost control and monitoring, and commercial/contract knowledge. Demonstrable excellent communication skills is a pre-requisite, as is the ability to present project controls issues in a simple, clear and concise manner.
