Assistant Civil Engineer, Liverpool £22 - 26,000 plus a range of benefits including a contributory pension, discretionary company bonus, Health and Dental care, Life Insurance, 25 days holiday and a flexible working policy. They undertake a wide range of high profile, technically demanding projects and have developed a reputation for technical excellence, innovation and project delivery and being an employer of choice. Their maritime division is renowned world wide for its industry expertise on major port and harbour projects. They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Civil Engineer to join their successful Maritime team in Liverpool. You must have worked in previous design teams; post-graduate industry experience, possesses a Masters degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) or in a similar field, although Bachelor Degrees will also be considered. The scope of works vary from: Preparation of designs for maritime and heavy civil engineering structures; Production of design calculations, drawings etc; Preparing Bills of Quantities, Contract Documents and Specifications; Inspections and surveys, preparation of reports; Undertake structural analyses and reporting; Asisting with business development opportunities and maintaining contacts with existing and prospective clients In terms of continuation of your existing training, our Clients competency-based training and development scheme means that you have a clear route to plan your current and future career aspirations.
