CARBON CAPTURE & STORAGE EXPERT Category: POWER GENERATION Description: Carbon Capture Specialists. We seek to strengthen our Carbon Team with a specialist to support the development and implementation of CCS projects. The role will require a combination of technical and commercial skills and an understanding of energy policies, CCS related regulations and electricity markets. Main Duties: § To champion/support the provision of strategic advice to governments and project developers regarding the implementation of CCS projects. § Lead project teams to assist Clients in the development of new international power plants with CCS. § Tasks will include conceptual design, performance modeling, feasibility studies, conceptual design & front end engineering design, specification, tendering, consent applications, inputs to financial models and project contracts, project management and design review. § Strategic and technical appraisal of international CCS projects and development of knowledge transfer provisions for CCS demonstration projects. § Develop ‘in-house` CCS technical capabilities & work methods. § Promotion of clients CCS related expertise, including business development, proposals and participation in conferences. § Working in liaison with Financial and Legal advisers may be required. § Define and delegate tasks to supporting discipline engineers. § Provide specialist input to project teams as necessary. § Travel nationally and overseas in pursuit of the above duties and for attendance at technical meetings with clients and contractors as appropriate.
