Mechanical Engineers North West £30 - £35 ph A excellent opportunity has arisen for Mechanical Engineers to work on a contract basis in the North West. We require engineers with ROV design experience. You will have worked in a industry involving Mechanical Handling e.g. Hydraulics, Pumps and Motors. Roles: * Able to manage teams of Designers and undertake checking and approval of Mechanical deliverables * Has the knowledge, skill and experience to develop ideas into conceptual engineering designs * Understands requirement for applying relevant EH&S issues as required by legislation. * Has working knowledge of AutoCAD * Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office software Need to have knowledge of the following: * Essential Health and Safety experience * Knowledge & experience of CE Marking * British Standards * Knowledge of PUWER * Knowledge of LOLER * Knowledge of Designers Risk Assessments * Experience of D&E estimates * Experience of Directives e.g Machinery and associated EH&S Requirements Duties * Detailed design and checking of others detailed design works * production of Basis of Design Documents * Production of Installation Method Statements / Engineers Orders * Production of Test Specifications / Material Specification / Functional / Test / O&Ms etc * Input in Design Reviews * Experience of functional testing * Experience of on site testing/commissioning Qualifications: HNC
