Technical Manager (Electrical)

2 yr Fixed Term Contract
Our client have recently been awarded at new contract worth 45m based in Surrey. They require a Technical Manager to develop and lead the design & technical support teams.
This individual will take overall responsibility for all technical aspects of work, oversee the management of all design work undertaken within the division and ensure that effective technical risk management is implemented throughout the division.
Provide process & technical, assistance, education & advice to divisional personnel as required to achieve divisional & company engineering excellence.
Take responsibility for quality control, commissioning & compliance issues in the division, arising from our obligations under NICEIC, Gas Safety and operative skills & training requirements, ensuring the provision of appropriate M&E quality control, commissioning & GAS safety staff to meet the business needs, liaising with the Technical Services Director & Health, Safety & Environmental Manager as necessary.
You will be preferably educated to degree level standard in a relevant subject. Previous management experience is essential, as is working within a building services environment. Must have knowledge of technical skills requirements, and possess excellent communication skills together with a common sense and flexible approach.
