Managing Consultant - Maritime, based in London
£50-70,000 salary + package
Working for a Capital Project Management Consultant, based in central London, the Company is seeking a Chartered Civil Engineer to manage their Maritime Division.
You will be capable of bridging across the complex technical, contractual, financial and programming issues that affect capital maritime projects. You will lead the team in project delivery, have the gravitas to liaise at Board level and assist in resource planning.
To be considered you will be:
Chartered Engineer (CEng), preferably a Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers (MICE)
15 years + experience within the maritime engineering field
To demonstrate delivering assignments to program and budget
Able to lead / manage and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (essential)
Proven track record of business development demonstrating the ability to identify appropriate opportunities and priorities efforts in securing these opportunities to achieve Company targets
Experience of working and operating at a senior level and communicating and presenting to Board Level
Strong knowledge of relevant national and international industry standards, contracts, methodologies and procedures
You should have considerable practical experience of major design and build projects for Port Operators and Marine organizations.
