Mechanical Package Engineer Contract Academic Qualifications: - Minimum BEng in a relevant subject. Associate or Full Membership of a recognised professional Engineering body would be an advantage. Skill Sets: - The candidate should ideally have design experience in the majority of the following areas: • Material and Mechanical handling equipment. • Isolator and containment technologies • Production of design documentation suitable for use within a highly regulated industrial sector. • Mechanical process equipment. • An appreciation of Fabrication design. • An appreciation of designing equipment for manufacture and installation. • An appreciation of commissioning equipment. • Sub – Contractor Interface and Management. • Management of a small team of multi-discipline engineers Experience: - The ideal candidate will be an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer having good organisational and people management skills. It is unlikely that a candidate having less than 5 years experience in a similar role would be suitable for the post. Experience in either Nuclear or Defence Industries is essential.
