Recruitment Consultant - Engineering and Construction

To augment and strengthen our team we are currently looking to recruit two new consultants with either Engineering or Construction Industry backgrounds.

Successful recruiters come from a variety of backgrounds, what they have in common is the ability to work with and through people. They have the ability to listen and understand both candidate and client company requirements so as to provide solutions.

The role is demanding and challenging on a daily basis; but is highly rewarding.

The Role: essentially the role covers two key elements:

• Pro-actively networking or headhunting of candidates to work with clients
• The selling of the companies services to new and existing clients

In doing both of the above the successful consultant uses techniques used by accomplished sales professionals in any Business to Business sector.

Person profile:
You will enjoy working in a targeted environment, you will bring a sense of urgency to situations, demonstrate an active approach, be willing to get involved in order to increase the pace and achieve goals and objectives.

You will be friendly, assertive, independent, quick paced and have the ability to motivate others.

As the role requires the active influencing and persuading of a variety of people in changing situations; you will have well developed communication skills.

You will have the ability to generate many contacts and sell a consultative service.

You should enjoy challenging situations and have the flexibility to work in an unstructured environment where there is freedom to act and the authority to take decisions.

Successful candidates will be self-confident, enthusiastic, friendly, positive, self-starting, competitive, venturesome, mobile, active, alert and independent.

Training:
The company will provide extensive training including; the role of the consultant, sales and contractual law and legal aspects relating to the recruitment industry, so as to provide you with the very best opportunity to develop a highly successful and rewarding career.

Excellent earning potential:
The company offers a basic starting salary of £23k increasing to £26k on completion of 6months probationary period and training.

OTE for year two £35k plus bonus

Established consultants earn in excess of £60kpa and can earn in excess of £80kpa
