Hydraulics Engineer Warrington You will be expected to contribute highly specialised Hydraulic expertise to internal and external clients. Provide support to Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards to meet both our client requirements. Job Description Experience within the water industry with a focus on all aspects of Hydraulic Engineering/ Fluid Mechanics Experience of producing hydraulic profiles through water and wastewater treatment plants. Experience of the hydraulic design of pipelines including surge analysis Conduct site surveys, field investigations and feasibility studies for proposed projects. Produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs will provide an appropriate solution. Produce written reports for specific projects. Check technical content of calculations and reports. Maintain communication with key contacts. Using appropriate software to provide advice, solutions and successful project outcomes for clients. Degree qualified in an engineering discipline or maths based discipline. A corporate member (or working towards corporate membership) of a relevant engineering institution i.e. ICE/CIWEM/IMechE/IChemE Experience in Hydraulic Engineering/Fluid Mechanics Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Strong communication skills – both written and oral. Good client service focus. Excellent organisational skills and able to multi-task.
